Spay & Neuter Assistance Program

We believe every pet deserves to be healthy, and every family deserves access to affordable veterinary care. A4A helps connect Jefferson County residents with low-cost spay and neuter services.

Why Spay & Neuter Matters

Spaying and neutering is one of the most impactful things a pet owner can do — for their pet's health, for their household budget, and for the broader community. Unfortunately, the cost of these procedures can be a barrier for many families.

That's why A4A actively helps connect qualifying families with affordable spay/neuter options — and requires proof of spay/neuter as part of our pantry eligibility (with support for those who need it).

🐾 Better Pet Health

Spayed and neutered animals live longer, healthier lives with reduced risk of certain cancers and infections.

🏠 Fewer Unwanted Litters

Millions of pets enter shelters every year. Spay/neuter is the most effective way to reduce pet overpopulation.

💰 Lower Long-Term Costs

Preventing litters and reducing health risks means fewer unexpected vet bills for families.

🌿 Healthier Community

Fewer stray and feral animals means a safer, healthier community for people and pets alike.

Our Partnership: Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic
